Stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can give you a jump on managing them. Stress that’s left unchecked can contribute to health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and even increase the risk of cancer.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness is a way of learning to relate directly to whatever is happening in your life, a way of taking charge of your life, a way of doing something for yourself that no one else can do for you — consciously and systematically working with your own stress, pain, illness, and the challenges and demands of everyday life. Fortunately, mindfulness is not something that you have to “get” or acquire. It is already within you — a deep internal resource available and patiently waiting to be released and used in the service of learning, growing, and healing.
My approach will teach you to manage your stress challenges in everyday life. To take a look at the triggers that are increasing your stress and to find mindful ways to reduce that stress. We will also look at the nutritional aspects and create a customized diet of healthy foods designed to reduce stress and improve mood and energy.
